Chi Hai has been an instrumental PT in the recovery for my knee injury. The knee pain is nearly gone thanks to the physio workout regimens he has taught me in the first session. In the first session he showed me clearly how to do every exercise and critiqued everything so I was following the best form possible. Post session he emailed me instructions with the sets and reps for each workout and also advised with YouTube videos for visual descriptions. The physio regimen was not easy, but thanks to pushing myself and staying dedicated to the routine, I feel much better now than 4 months ago. Now we're working on building back my strength and my ability to land safely when jumping. I'm really happy with my progress and I can safely say it is due to Chi Hai's great attention to detail in diagnosing my problems and figuring out the best solution based on my current level of fitness. The thought of being able to sprint full speed and grabbing rebounds while playing basketball again without the thought of pain is something I can't wait to look forward to. I’ve been to James for injury rehab and general maintenance and would highly recommend Lu Strength and Therapy! I’ve recently started seeing Alcina for physio as well, and both are super knowledgeable and practical in their treatment and prescribed self-care exercises. Their facility is great and has a large gym where they go over exercises and movement patterns with you as part of the treatment. Everyone at the clinic is also super friendly and welcoming.

I've been seeing James for a couple months now and I haven't been disappointed once. I injured my lower back a few months ago and with manual therapy and some prescribed exercises, the nagging pain I experienced went away. Very knowledgeable, genuine and overall a friendly guy. 10/10 would recommend especially if you're in the sport of weightlifting or powerlifting Update: 7 years later I’m still going to James and his team and they’re still doing a fantastic job!
