What is the Lu Strength & Performance Program?

The Lu Strength & Performance Program is a blend of strength training, conditioning and mobility work. It is ideal for all recreational fitness enthusiasts and/or athletes that have a basic understanding of weightlifting.

It is designed to help improve your overall strength and power, endurance and mobility/flexibility. Working on these different elements of fitness will help reduce the likeliness of developing pains and injuries and promote longevity in your life and sport.

Benefits of the Lu Strength & Performance Program

Build Overall Strength and Power: Whether you’re a recreational fitness enthusiast or competitive athlete, our programs are designed to help you develop more functional strength which can be applied to everyday activities and/or your sport.

Improve your Mobility and Flexibility: We ensure that a proper warm up with both activation and mobility drills are incorporated into each workout. Not only will this improve your movement capacity, but will also promote injury prevention, while providing a proper training session!

Promote Longevity and Quality of Life: Poor exercise selection and programming can leave you injured and seeing little to no results in the gym. Our programs are designed by strength coaches that are also health care practitioners who understand the biomechanics of your body’s specific needs.

I’ve been seeing James for a couple months now and I haven’t been disappointed once. I injured my lower back during deadlifts a few months ago and with manual therapy and some prescribed exercises, the nagging pain I experienced went away. He also continues to check up on my progress to ensure that training is going smoothly!

I was having difficulty with the butt wink on the bottom of a squat, which caused pain in my lower back after squatting. After James had worked on my hamstrings and calves, I noticed an immediate difference in terms of my posture and had completely fixed my butt wink in the bottom of a squat.

As I increased my intensity and volume during my workouts, I started noticing my posture and muscles tightening up throughout my entire body. Deep tissue massage along with corrective exercises has really helped with my muscle tightness and target those deep knots that I couldn’t touch on my back with a foam roller and lacrosse ball.
